Unpublished Africa is excited to invite you to Impact in Mind, our second Photography Week, happening virtually and in person from November 23rd to 30th, 2024. This week offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading creatives, collaborate with peers, and explore the power of photography to drive social change.

Dive into Inspiring Sessions:

  • Virtual Discussions and Workshops: Engage with renowned African creatives and cultural practitioners. Develop your skills in building visual stories, documentary photography, cultural heritage documentation, and more.

  • In-Person Photography Walks: Join Leonardo Thomas, Tinashe Pawandirwa, and Namukolo Siyumbwa for community-building walks in Luanda, Harare and Lusaka ( on November 23rd & 30th and December 8th).

Shape Your Impactful Narrative:

  • Impact in Mind Exhibition: Share your powerful visual stories and contribute to a group exhibition showcasing the power of photography for positive change. (Deadline is 22 November for submissions so submit before midnight!)

  • Connect with a Global Community: Join a network of photographers passionate about using their lens for activism and shaping narratives that matter.
